Country Music is returning to the Hunter on Saturday March 24 2018 with Crossroads Country in the Vines, featuring the biggest names in Country including the legendary Billy Ray Cyrus (USA), Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, The McClymonts and many more.
Cessnock Stomp Festival

The Cessnock Stomp Festival is a FREE event for all the family, offering a slightly quirky take on entertainment, lifestyle, fun, food & wine.
Enjoy a feast of beautiful food and wine from the Hunter Valley, an eclectic range of arts and crafts markets, many different offerings from local businesses, an Indulgence experience and Grape Stomping fun.
The Festival’s expanded program will embrace the diverse skills of the Cessnock community - from wineries, breweries, restaurants and artisans to artists, historians and musicians. Kick back in country style for a day of revelry with fine local food, wine and music.
Hunter Valley Wine, Food and Film Festival
Around Hermitage’s Wine, Food and Film Festival is in its third year! This year the festival will run over two distinct weekends, the first and last weekends of May.
The first weekend will see the return of FLiCKERFEST at Peter Drayton’s Winery and Brewhouse. On the second weekend, following on from the success of the “Life of Brian”, the Around Hermitage team will be screen a unique film, produced entirely in the Hunter Valley, based on Australia’s first cookery book: “Cookery for the Many as well as for the Upper 10,000” published in 1864.
The Film Festival coincides with the Hunter Valley’s Wine and Food Festival, many events will be held in the area to enjoy over both weekends.
